Experience: Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia

Wander into a historic food market  located under a train shed with the choicest selection of locally produced culinary delights and themed little shops where you can not only experience a taste explosion of the freshest produce, but also pick up a little pot of organic honey, some rose tea for your soul and some quirky gifts. The Reading Terminal Market is all that and more. It is an enclosed and sanitized version of the open-air markets that flourished in Philadelphia back when it was founded, that has managed to preserve the old-school vibe with the warmth of its merchants. From freshly baked bread and cakes to specialty foods like fudge candy, gourmet oils and vinegars– the Reading Terminal Market is a unique sensory experience that you shouldn’t miss if you are in Philadelphia. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of my time spent there. I will let the photos I took, using my Iphone 5, do rest of the talking.
