Watercolour Wednesday

I have a great deal of appreciation for collages. It brings a melangé of colours, ideas, thoughts, objects, and techniques together to form an unexceptional work of art. A collage to me epitomises beauty and order in chaos, much like our everyday.

Sharing for your viewing pleasure my latest discovery–the stunning watercolour collages of Melbourne based designer Emily Green who is well known  for her use of unusual and unexpected colour combinations in palettes that suit all tastes

There are is so much movement through colours in Emily’s collages. The mishmash of colours seem to represent all sorts of emotions that we undergo through the day and yet manage to emerge reinvigorated, happy and hopeful by the end of it all.

Do you like these collages as much as I do?  If you do, I would love to hear your thoughts.

You can see more of Emily’s collages, prints and products here. Do also look at her gorgeous printed shoes!
